Torah Lishmah With Reb Irwin

Torah Lishmah means “learning for its own sake.”

The Torah Lishmah class is an opportunity for young people past B.Mitzvah age to continue their Jewish learning on their own terms. Every month students will meet Reb Irwin at a local cafe. (Coffee is on him.) Together we will explore Jewish texts, history, mythology, philosophy – whatever the class decides they’d like to dive deeper into. This is learning for its own sake – not B.Mitzvah prep, not readying for a test. Learning for the pleasure and enrichment that only learning can provide.
