Sometimes people find themselves at a loss in the face of loss: not having a clear idea how to be with someone who is dying, how to mourn and how to remember. Together we will explore the wisdom that our Jewish tradition has to share. We will also discuss specific Chevra Kadisha practices of tahara (purification of the body) and shmira (sitting vigil).
