Join us in person at Ner Shalom, or virtually via Zoom, as we gather in community for Transgender Day of Remembrance. This is a time to remember the lives of transgender people lost to violence, and honor them through our commitment and action.
This gathering will be a space to explore the everyday ways of resistance that we all – queer and allies alike – can engage in, to say that we are not going away and that we demand a future where trans lives are celebrated and all people are safe.
Expect wise words, group discussion, beautiful music, and collective art-making. Community organizations will also be present with information about their work.
This event is free and open to all. Sponsored by the Ner Shalom Tzedek Committee’s “Becoming More” Working Group.
Light refreshments will be provided. Pre-registration is required for this event.
