Maimonides Study Group

  • Ner Shalom 85 La Plaza Cotati, CA, 94931 United States (map)
free registration

Ner Shalomer Ellen Solomon is heading up this study group of people interested in studying Moses Maimonides' classic text, Guide for the Perplexed.

Maimonides (born Cordoba 1135, died Egypt 1204) was a rabbi, physician and philosopher. He was the most influential Jewish thinker of the Middle Ages, perhaps of all time.

The group will meet monthly in the Ner Shalom library, on days determined by the group. Zoom study is also an option.

This will be a study group, not a class or lecture. We will study a few pages each month and discuss.

Reb Irwin will be on hand at (at least) the first meeting where he will introduce Maimonides’ background and contributions.
