online reservations have ended but walk-ins are welcome.

OPEN TO NER SHALOM MEMBERS & NITZANIM PARENTS ONLY

Nearly two years after October 7, many of us carry deep questions, grief, and sorrow about what’s unfolding in Gaza and Israel. A Time for Tea offers Ner Shalom members and our Nitzanim parents a chance to come together in community for thoughtful, honest conversation — not to debate, but to share, listen, and simply be present with one another.

In this session, we are all the featured speaker. We’ll open with music and reflection, and use tools like video storytelling to ground us in our shared humanity. We’ll have time in smaller groups to explore our feelings, fears, hopes, and longings — emotionally, spiritually, and politically. Guided by prompts and grounded in care.

Facilitated by Rabbi Irwin and Reb Mia.

This gathering is part of a continued effort to create brave, grounded Jewish space for complexity, compassion, and connection.

Please register in advance so we can ensure enough facilitators - and enough tea!
