Ner Shalomer Ellen Solomon is heading up this study group of people interested in studying Moses Maimonides' classic text, Guide for the Perplexed.
Maimonides (born Cordoba 1135, died Egypt 1204) was a rabbi, physician and philosopher. He was the most influential Jewish thinker of the Middle Ages, perhaps of all time.
The group will meet in the Ner Shalom library on the second Thursday of each month from 3-4:30 p.m. PST on: November 13th, December 11th, January 8th, February 12th, March 12th, April 9th and May 14th. In the future, Zoom study may also be an option.
This will be a study group, not a class or lecture. We will study a few pages each month and discuss.
