Ner Shalom is
a Reconstructionist
synagogue
boasting a spirited and diverse
community of people from a
wide variety of backgrounds. Together we explore Jewish-centered paths
of ritual, learning, song, community-building and mindfulness.
Ner Shalom
offers Kabbalat
Shabbat services to welcome
the Sabbath, a wide range of classes, a book group, an elders group,
Yiddish Tish, folk dancing, social justice projects, programs for
teens, a religious
school for our young people, and celebrations for kids with special
needs and their families. We celebrate holidays together, support each
other in times of need and mark the life cycle events of our members.
We are proud to be a scent-free, smoke-free haven, safe for people with
chemical sensitivities.
We welcome visitors,

members, interfaith families,
LGBTQ folk, people with special needs - and
