It is Rosh Chodesh Tammuz.
Join us in the contemplative darkness of the New Moon. Shine your light in the darkness (and then go enjoy the fireworks)!
Join Sue Kearney and other Ner Shalom leaders and musicians for an evening of contemplation, and affirmation. Rosh Chodesh is a monthly time of renewal. The new month wasn’t said to begin until the smallest sliver of the New Moon renewed herself and became visible again in the sky. This potent darkness invites self-reflection, self-commitment, and self-compassion.
Bring yourself, and any of the following that light you up:
fragrant flowers, herbs, and greenery from your garden as we step fully into Summer
the name and (short) story) of a woman you revere, who’s been helpful or meaningful in your life
your body for humming, singing, and stomping
