Every
year we tell our time-honored story of slavery and freedom, fear and
resolve, rebellion and miracle, toil and trust. Our world - and our
lives - have a constant rhythm of enslavement and liberation, of
contraction and expansion. We tell this story to remember that
liberation always lies ahead, inviting us and never beyond our reach.
This year's Seder, led by Reb Irwin
and friends, will be a night both ancient and new, with beautiful
music, sweet and deep ritual, stimulating conversation and flat-out fun. Together we will embody the Seder,
the Savor and the Story.
Event Information
We
anticipate the
seder to be quite full. You must
pre-register. The
admission price at the door will be higher, and we won't be able to
guarantee you a seat! If you need a full or partial scholarship to
attend, please call Vicki at (707) 664-8622 as soon as possible. (Click here to read about our scholarship
policy.)
Seder is an
important multi-generational event, with many
opportunities for engagement among people of all ages. Children will
sit with their parents or other significant adults for this seder and we will do some good
magic to make the night exciting and fun and meaningful for everyone.
Seating
will be at tables this year - we loved
the floor seating but with the numbers attending we don't want a
hazard! A mostly vegetarian
catered dinner is
included. But please bring your
favorite kiddush cup for
Elijah or Miriam. And bring your favorite conversational partners!
