Claire Gustavson - February 5, 2005
My name is Claire Gustavson. I live with my mom and dad, and my
5-year-old brother, Max. I have two rabbits, Patches and Pantalaimon.
I really like animals, which has caused me to become a vegetarian.
I also like Italian and Mexican food. I enjoy being with my friends
or a good book. I like to sing and I like to act.
I go to Sonoma Country Day School. I like seeing my friends and
I like to write. I like Art, Music, English and Recess. I am in
drama and I play the clarinet. I have a very busy life and I cannot
do some of the things I would like to do because of that, but I'm
making time for my Bat Mitzvah.
My Tikkan Olam project is working at the Bird Rescue Center in
Santa Rosa. I think my project is significant because it is helping,
not hindering the natural environment. The Bird Rescue helps birds
without getting them used to being around humans. This way they
are able to be released back into the wild. I think this is a wonderful
organization.
