Jordan Green - March 19, 2005
I am a 7th grade student at Brandeis Hillel Day School. I am a
competitive athlete and play on a travelling soccer team, a competitive
basketball team, and in Little League baseball. I am also studying
electric guitar. I have an an older brother, Aaron, who is 17, who
had his Bar Mitzvah at Ner Shalom in 2001. My parents are Fern and
Stefan Greene.
For my Tikkun Olam project, I worked to help the political environment
in this country, and supported the Democratic Party, which supports
many of my beliefs. I answered telephones, did phone banking to
people across the country, wrote letters to single mothers, stuffed
envelopes, canvassed door-to-door, and attended Democratic Committee
meetings.
