Congregation Ner Shalom

bnai mitzvah

Rebecca Cohen - April 15, 2006

My name is Kenny Bilecki, but it's really Kenneth. I live in Santa Rosa with my parents, MaryAnn and Dennis, 2 older brothers, Eliot and Jaycob, and my dog Max. I was born in Berkeley. I lived in El Sobrante until 1993 when we moved here.

I am in the 7th grade at Rincon Valley Middle School and I just found out that my grades are good enough to get into Renaissance (free food for good grades). I was on the cross-country team last fall and look foward to being on the track team in the spring. I also play the trumpet and like to read fiction.

I have played soccer since I was 4. Now I am playing on a Class III team. This year was the first year I worked as a soccer referee which was fun except for the early morning games.

I love animals. I think I would like to go to UC Davis to become a veterinarian.

My Tikkun Olam project has been diversified. For the past 2 years I have volunteered for the Race for Life Relay which raises money to support cancer research. This is an important cause to me because my mom had cancer. I also volunteer at the Redwood Regional Food Bank and made donations to the American Red Cross for the Tsunami Relief.

My Bar Mitzvah will be on February 26, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. I hope to see you there.
