Shabbat Outreach Program
Jewish Family and Children's Services of San Francisco, the Peninsula,
Marin and Sonoma Counties
We’re looking for volunteers to conduct Shabbat programs once
or twice a month on Friday afternoons at senior living facilities
in Sonoma County. Reach out to Jewish seniors by celebrating Shabbat
with them. Volunteer as a family or with special friends to make
Shabbat a memorable experience by singing Shabbat songs, lighting
candles, and reciting prayers over wine and Challah. Orientation
and training are provided. Time commitment: 1 Friday per month,
3:45 to 5:00 pm.
