Women-only Passover Seder

On Friday, April 29th women of Sonoma County are invited to a
celebration of the crossing of the Red Sea, in a women-only Passover
Seder led by Rabbi Elisheva Salamo at the newly opened Bistro-V in
Sebastopol.

The evening will focus on the Dance of Miriam, and include both
Ashkenazi and Sephardi Passover traditions. Selections from the Song
of Songs weave throughout, so bring your voices and your tambourines! The
seder begins at 6PM, and includes a scrumptious dinner. Cost is $36 per
person.

Chef Rick Vargas is preparing his interpretation of the traditional Passover meal, and is also offering a special vegetarian Passover set
menu.

The menu includes:
Chicken Liver Mousse
Egg Salad and Beaten Horseradish Salad (Chazeret) Matzo Ball Soup
(Traditional or Vegetarian) Gefilte Fish (or Eggplant Timbale) Lamb
Stew (or
Asparagus and long roast greens) with roast potatoes Tzimes Passover
Desserts

For those of you who are not joining the seventh night seder,
Bistro-V is offering a traditional holiday menu for the week of
Passover,
starting on Saturday, April 23rd, and ending Friday, April 29th,
inclusive.
The north room will also be open with the regular menu throughout the
holiday.
